Terms of service

ViralEngine is an AI-assisted video editing service. You upload footage and receive an automatically edited vertical short.

The service is in an early experimental beta. Features, pricing, limits, and availability can change. Results are not guaranteed to be perfect. You should review every output before you publish it.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create an account and use paid services.

You must have the rights or necessary permissions to upload the footage, including permission for people, music, clips, or other copyrighted material in the source. See Upload rights & consent.

• You keep ownership of the footage you upload.
• You keep ownership of the finished short, subject to any third-party material that was already in your source.
• ViralEngine does not claim ownership of your content.
• ViralEngine does not grant you rights to third-party material contained in an upload.
• You are responsible for what you publish.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful
• upload content you do not have the rights or permissions to use
• attempt to abuse, overload, attack, or reverse-engineer the service
• use the service for fraud, or to violate someone else’s rights

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.

• Usage is measured in uploaded source minutes, rounded up to the nearest whole minute.
• Trial minutes may be provided without payment.
• Purchased top-up minutes do not expire unless we later change that and say so.
• Subscription minutes are granted when a subscription payment succeeds, and renew according to the plan you selected.
• Prices shown during the beta are beta prices and may change with notice.
• Stripe processes payments. ViralEngine does not store full card details.

Technical failures can happen in beta. The system may retry some failures automatically from a saved editing plan. A retry from that checkpoint does not use additional paid minutes.

If a job fails for a qualifying technical reason, the minutes reserved for that job are restored. That is not a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and it is separate from a purchase refund.

You can cancel future renewal. There is not currently an in-app cancel button; use the contact page and we will stop upcoming subscription charges.

Cancelling does not automatically reverse charges already processed, unless the purchase is eligible under the Refund policy. Minutes already granted for the current period stay in your balance until you use them or delete the account.

• ViralEngine does not guarantee views, engagement, virality, revenue, or how a platform will treat your post.

The service relies on third-party infrastructure, including OpenAI for certain AI processing, Stripe for payments, and hosting or storage providers. Those providers process data as needed to run the service. Their terms also apply to that processing.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ViralEngine is not liable for lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or other indirect or consequential damages, or for how a published short performs.

Our financial responsibility for a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the unused portion of that purchase, or the minutes restored when a job fails under the credit policy — whichever applies. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction does not allow to be waived.
